Throat remedies

Due to having the cold and singing in a punk band my throat is flem-ier than a whores crack. Does anyone have any good remedies to cure my swirly problem?

I swear by strepsils, the extra strength ones. numb your throat mmm. I eat them before i go on stage too

i say get yerself down to taza buffet and have a hot curry, that should do the trick

or some hot water with honey and lemon yum yum

I like to have a cup of strong black tea with a couple of sachets of Lemsip in it, then scream really loud and hard for a while. The combination of ingredients mixed with breaking-the-throat-pain-barrier and a good burst of adrenaline seems to do the job.

oh dont get me started on beer! i was lucky not to make a stupid mistake once when i had tonsillitis, i had gotten drunk and it didnt hurt to scream so i went ahead with the show. luckily i didnt do any long term damage!
