Carling Academy in Glasgow

Just a quick question, what's it like in the upper standing bit? Crap, good, no difference whatsoever?

I've only ever been in the downstairs standing bit and there's a gig I want to go but there's only upper standing tickets left and I don't want to buy some if it's not gonna be worth it!

it seems ok, but it's easy enough to get into the downstairs bit. a good trick is to go with two other people who have standing tickets, or find people you can trust. all go in, then one of the two with lower standing meets the one from upstairs and gives them the other person's ticket. then you should just be able to go straight in.
i'd say try and walk in no matter what ticket you have though, it's happened once to me and once to a friend of mine's who just walked right in with us.

*edit* sorry, i just read your post about deftones tickets so this post is mostly pointless.
