Inexplicably bad records by good bands.
You know how it is, you wait for ages for the new record from some favourite act, it comes out......and it's shit.
Here's a good example - 'Dear Catastrophe Waitress' by Belle & Sebastian. What the HELL happened there? So, which albums by otherwise loved bands could you do without? |

carcass - swansong. originally a grind band, then this album comes out. at times its just generic rock with screaming.
The Berzerker - Animosity. i think he's run out of idea's, or good ones at least. MH - Burning Red. Absolutley gash In Flames - Reroute to Remain. i was expecting something amazing after the great Clayman album. This CD starts well, then descends into a boring in flames by numbers album. |

ye!
but at least Heartwork was passible as a decent album (if nothing like there previous efforts) it had a good production, and quite a few death metal and thrash moments, just no grind. some parts of swansong are just amazingly bland, and there are a few country music moments! |

Nas' penultimate album was one of the worst rap albums I've ever heard. So bad I can't even remember the name of it.

If you take the singles he released before With Sympathy into consideration, then it is still an aberration, Twitch was a return to what he was doing before the first album.
