I've been on flights which had those but they always switched them to the map with the plane on it as we were coming in to land.

im so annoyed that i have never been on a plane that has any of these. the best iv had is a GPS type screen that pops down from the roof, and it was shit. a SNES could get me to Australia and back easy.

I went to the doctors about not sleeping once, and was told to buy some sleeping tablets or herbal sleeping aids. He couldnt reccomend anything else!

PS am i the only one who likes turbulence? brightens up boring flights! Lift off is the best bit but going down hurts my head loads.

Dude, almost 20 hours travelling to Portland, Oregon....watched 'Syriana' (great), Minority Report (less bad than I feared) and 'The Producers' (unutterable shite). NW Airlines/KLM are great for flights to the Pacific North West.

Most boring flight - Jumbo jet from Paris to Montréal; full of french people, no TV's in the back of chairs, terrifying amount of Mr Bean on the inflight channel.

Mr Bean is an international superstar, i watched a documentary about how that one character is better known all over the world than any of his others. i think there is a statue of him in a shopping center or something, could be totally wrong.

I have flat refused to watch the remake of The Producers (how can it possibly work without a Jim Morrison Hitler???) but thats a pretty good movie selection for long flights! KLM are pretty good and if memory serves me correctly the food isnt too bad either.

20 hours is a long ass flight.

Hooligan when you go to/from Australia do your flights often stop in Singapore? I have been to perth a fair few times and we had one Bizzare flight that went Glasgow - Amsterdam - Singapore - new Zealand! - Ayres Rock - Perth!!! Crazy! (totaly worth it though, Australia is great! C'mon the Freemantle Dockers!

sorry to give the impression i had been to Australia - i was meaning that a snes could occupy me for any length of time, Australia being the longest flight i could think of.

really want to go though, not until i have enough money to maybe not come back
