Here's something you might be interested in.

There's a big budget, polemical, mainstream creationist documentary called "Expelled - No Intelligence Allowed" coming out in the states (and then here) soon. It sounds all sorts of ludicrous (blaming the theory of evolution for Naziism etc). But it looks like it's going to be pretty big.
Just advance warning so you have the harpoons manned in good time.

The tagline is: "Big science has expelled smart new ideas from the classroom...What they forgot is that every generation has its Rebel!"

the people who argue over either of these views are as stupid as each other. they are not going to convince the other to change their views and neither of the groups are going to vanish so really its a useless fight that shows the assholes of each party.

Science is always changing its views, Religion is (almost by definition) completely unshifting.

How is it racist to comment on an individuals religious beliefs? In fact, aren't YOU being a bit racist by assuming that a Muslim wouldn't be white? Cat Stevens? Richard Thompson?

i thought after i posted about the racist bit, i agree it is a bit wrong. but going upto a Muslim or someone of any mostly ethnic religeon and telling him he is wrong would be considered by more people than not to be racist.
