Job Centres Dundee
There's two isn't there?? One beside the Wellgate and one on Gelletly(sp) street....does it matter which one you go to??

It depedns on your postcode i think. I had to go to the Gellatly Street one when i had a DD2 postcode. If its your first time it shouldnt be a problem, theyl tell you which you need to be at if you are arranging a meeting. If you are just checking the computers for jobs it doenst matter which you go to. Hope thats any help?

i was told it was due to surname!

Gellaty St is far better, plus you dont have to walk the stairwells of bleach, or get into a lift with 5 jakies.

Hahaha I remember being in said job centre lift, when the guy next to me, the only other guy in the lift, said (paraphrasing) "Don't you just hate it when you get stabbed by your brother?"

well....went to the wellgate one and there was practically no-one in so it was fine!! The woman I spoke to was really nice but when I first went in I was a bit confused as to where I was supposed to go!! Couldn't see any signs or anything telling you what floor to go to so that was a wee bitty scary.
Was just in asking about a job someone had told me about and said I would have to go to the jobcentre to get an application form but after speaking to the wife there you do it online so was a bit of a waste going, suppose if I ever have to go again though I will know where to go!! :P
