Gym
well, i finally did it, i renewed my gym membership today. Start back on monday. 5 days a week 6.30am 1hr solid work out then off to work :S i think i'll be ok, i've done if for a long period once before and got used to it, just need to make sure i get to bed at decent times.
13 stone by the end of the year if my aim.

i'm hoping to get back into my martial arts full time again. Its been almost a year since i was doing submission and ground work 4 nights a week.

heavy weights, its bulk training. Low reps but with heavy weights. I want to put on bulk then once i reach 14 stone i'll start toning up to about 13 stone. I'm at the perfect start point, i have little fat and a talk frame. I'm an ectomorph. Thats someone that burns fat quickly, fast metabolism. Usually its very hard to put on wieght, so i have to make do with what i have.
I do mostly ground grappling, joint manipulation, submission holds etc. I also did various defences against weapons and weapons training. I hope to start up First Strike School of Tactical Martial Arts (i think i got that right) again. There is one in California and one in South Korea.

Sounds like a good plan man. I have no problem putting on weight. It's getting it off that's the problem! I'm pretty interested in bulking up muscle wise like. i'm 17 stone just now. But i'd like most of that to be muscle. I'll really have to start going to the gym like.
So when you say you're interested in starting that martial art thing would you be the one teaching or have i totally got the wrong end of the stick?? It sound's pretty cool like. Being like Ken Shamrock & shit! heh heh. |

i'd be teaching. I have certification permitting me to teach from the HQ in California. I've taught before, i just need to get back into the routine and have the physique to go with it.
