Gears of War for X360

Got this on the way to work, can't wait to play it! Anyone else getting it? The co-op and multiplayer sounds immense. Will this distract me from Counterstrike? I hope so lol.

it came through the post for me today, i discovered it after i got home from work. what the fuck am i doing posting this? i should be playing it. i wont get a chance to tonight anyway... ill probs finish call of duty 3 first... when i get time

Played it for 3 hours straight today, my head hurts but damn it looks awesome on a HD TV. Gave the multiplayer a wee shot too but i'm not good enough.

Cant wait to try it on hardcore. I've unlocked 4 of 49 achievements, its a decent sized game.

It looks amazing. Does it play as good as it looks?!

Me n my mate bought it last night so i came home to stirling...after playing 6 hours straight until 3 in the moring we have now entered the mines.
I love this game.
its like being a Space Marine (warhammer 40k) mixed with elements of films like Pitch Black, Aliens, Saving Private Ryan...and the game plays like a mix of Halo (only 3rd person) and Ghost recon....only far superior on both counts.

And lets not get started on the graphics (top notch) the random soldier banter (hillarious) and the ease of the controls (the duck and run/jump into cover button is a nice touch).

Oh yes...and the fantastic enemy AI....

Quite possibly the best co-op game i have ever plyed....(except for Street Gangs on the NES)

I'd have thought the contractors would get it too. I dunno about QA though. In my experience of other games companies, QA generally seem to get the shaft in this kind of situation, but you never know.
