I dunno, licensed games are generally pretty shit, and I didn't see anything there that jumped out at me as being massively fun. Will have to see what it looks like when more footage is available.

Camera angles looked shitty, but I think it will probably be an alright game. Like Brian said, nothing really stood out though.

From what I read elsewhere this is basically a technical demo to showcase as a bid to secure the licensing agreement to create a proper GhostBusters game

A free roaming game set in a huuuge NY cityscape could be interesting as a Ghostbusters game (especially if they were able to get either the origial film voiceovers or the TV show voice actors) but i'd agree not much seemed to stand out from that. It was the same shot over and over...and c'mon, at NY city anytime of day or night there is a shitlot more people wandering around the streets.

I reckon there'd be a huge amount of people buying it for the sheer novelty factor alone. Even if it does look poxy, the chance to run around pretending to be venkman/stantz/spengler and to a lesser extent zeddmore, might be too tempting. It would for me anyway! I spent most of my childhood dreaming of that.

Ive also just read somewhere that the storyline, if the game is made, is rumoured to closely follow the script for the third Ghostbusters film, Ghostbusters in Hell. Considering it was Ackroyd who wrote it, it might be the saving grace of the game, getting to see the film that will never be made.
