The demo is up on Xbox live. You can download it if you have a gold account, if not you have to wait for a few more days.

Just finished my first playthrough.

My recommendation, if you're looking for something cool to do in the game, is get your driving skills up to level 5, and take the Agency SUV out for a spin. At level 5, it gets special suspension, which you can use to jump into the air, and even drive up vertical walls (if you're good).

Been playing this and it's brilliant, it's possibly one of the most beautiful to look at games on the console just now but also the gameplay is top notch. XBox magazine gave it 9/10 which i think is the same as Gears of War got... just to give an idea of quality but really the games are totally different. I love all the small things like

Spoiler:
jumping from high roofs leaves cracks on the ground when you land

I think this game is certainly going to be 2007's surprise package on any console. It's like State of Emergency, Grand Theft Auto and some fresh ideas all rolled into one with a new visual style and lots more fun. Can't wait to see what the co-op is like, apparently that is what makes the game special.

I've bought an xbox 360 now, so I'll get this when it's out. I've watched the trailers, and it does look good.
Haven't signed up for xbox live yet though, coz I don't have a wireless adapter.
I managed to get the console, gears of war, rainbow 6 vegas, and tomb raider for £330, which i thought was quite a good deal.

I'm sure you probably know already, but you dont need to use it wireless, you can just plug a network cable in. Saves £60

In the event that you do need wireless, you don't need to pay for the wireless adapter either. You can get a wireless-ethernet bridge for about £20 - £30, which is cheaper than the Xbox wireless adapter. That's what I use, because my Xbox is in the living room, and the router is in the bedroom, and it works fine.

Good, good. I found a voucher in the box for a free xbox wireless adapter from BT if you get new broadband. I'm going to try and wangle my way to get that, since we've just signed up for a new 12 month contract. Otherwise, the cheaper option will be purchased.
Since the router is in one end of the house, and the console the other. Don't fancy having metres of ethernet cable snaking through the house!

Obviously, I'll need a lot of practice playing as well, before I even think about taking on any of you folks.

Enjoied the demo anyways! took some time downloading but i trashed Kj's hex score whilst waiting so it's all good (soz Kj, couldnt help it!)

The jumping works way better than i thought it would in the game. it can a bit irritating when you go for a jump to reach a ledge and you dont get the full jump out of your capibilitys because you've not the held the button right but im loving the airwalk and shoot combo!!

played it online too, to see what it was like, the dude i played with liked driving into walls, so i took delight in jumping the car then bailing out when it was high in the air...

gonna have the box hooked upto a router tonight, just gonna slide all the cables around the edge of the walls. much better than having connection wars with the missus when she needs online when im playing!!
