Sensi on XBL

Has anyone bought Sensible Soccer from XBox Live yet? Just wondering if it is any good, or for that fact, exactly the same as the original and best Sensi games?

I think it's better than Pro Evo when it comes to multiplayer.

They are both great but in different ways.

The new sensi is pretty much the same as the old one, right down to losing the ball if you turn too sharply!

Sensi is a shit game, but it is consistently shit so it's playable and even more fun for it I think. me and my mate had a few games on local multiplayer last night, as well as a game of pro evo and a game of madden 07. sensi was the most fun! mainly cos i got pumped on madden

well c'mon, by modern standards, it looks shit and it really should play shit but the point i was making is that because it is poor you don;t expect much from it, which is a gross misreading of the game.

So what you are saying is that if you look past the graphics its a good game.

if you look past the graphics and the flawed engine which means you can't take more than 3 steps in any direction without the ball falling from your feet! But taking that on board, what I mean is that it forces you to play it in a way which is actually really exciting and only the more recent pro evo games have come close to the style of game which sensi forces on you, which is fast, flowing football with plenty of smart passes and end to end action. hence, it is shit because i think it is due to it being a flawed game rather than a work of genius that this is the case but the flaw makes it the brilliant fun that it is! I hope that makes sense.

an easier way to demonstrate this is to quote from the EDge 100 greatest games.

That's talking about Pro Evo 6 (#15) but it applies directly to sensi as well, but the difference is that pro evo meant it and sense didn't!

Aye. There were some players though that you could actually dribble some distance with, also there is a lot of skill involved, for example when you could see the ball escaping the control of your player all it required was letting off a little on the joystick and recollecting the ball as it rolled away from you, and who can forget those swerving lobs from just inside the halfway line. Long live SWOS.
