Pretty interesting interview and most of it makes sense.

"a good unit may last a couple of years, while a bad unit can fail in hours"

thats why i didnt buy a 360, the majority of people i know with one have had problems. pretty shocking though!

True, it is shocking, but through experience I have to admit that the speed that they fixed and returned my xbox was impressive. Just a shame it had to happen. 4 people at my work have one and 2 of us have had the RROD.

the problems is, what if you're unlucky and have one that breaks when it's out of warranty? It's a major factor in me not having a 360. I've got a high-end gaming pc, PS3, wii but no 360.

my mate got a refurbished one when his drive fucked up.

this was the reason i bought a ps3 instead, they seem ten times more well put together than the 360s and i didnt want a console that i would be scared to turn on!

The worst part about the article in my opinion is the part when he says a good 360 will die in a couple of years, sounds to me like theyre all doomed to an early grave!
