I don't expect this to be of interest to that many people on here but I know there's a few who are into their UFC, Pride, etc.

mmaplayground.com is basically fantasy football for MMA so if you're into the UFC or anything else you should sign up and we'll compare records

I've never really checked it out but a lot of people on the rosstraining.com forums use it I believe.

You should check it out Keerin, get yourself joined up before this weekends UFC! I'm in a mini-league sort of thing on it with a load of people from the Bravo forums (which are pretty shit by the way). If you join up let me know your username and I'll get someone to invite you to the mini-league.

And Keerin, on an unrelated topic: when you mentioned a while ago about the Muay Thai class you go to in Arbroath I was, and still am, very interested in checking it out but unfortunately I've just been constantly busy with other activities that have gotten in the way. I recall posting and saying that I'd definitely come along and check it out and didn't want to come off as though I was just saying that for the sake of it or that I'd totally forgotten about it!

Do you do any other sort of training? Any grappling or groundwork stuff (not at Muay Thai obviously!)?

I don't, no. I only do Muay Thai just now.

You should still come down. We've had a few new guys join the class so the numbers have swollen to about 10 on a good day.

But yeah, come along. We are in the CAFE project in Arbroath now from 8-9 on a Tuesday and Thursday. If you are comin then PM me and i'll give you my number so I can show you where it is!

I might have a look at the MMA playground thing, I;'ve been meaning to but like you, I've been busy. haha

Is mmaplaygound good? Yes, yes it is! If you like K-1, they usually have the K-1 Heroes events on there too to pick the winners on. Same with Cage Rage, EliteXC, Strikeforce etc. Unfortunately since Pride is no-more, there aren't any more Pride events to make picks on.

If you like Pride though, you might be interested to know that Fedor Emelianenko is fighting on New Year's Eve in Japan.

Haha, yeah Anderson is a bad bad man!

I'll be finished with Uni soon so I'll have a bit more free time and will no doubt give you a shout about training. I think I know where the CAFE project is. I play hockey in Arbroath and am sure I've driven past it before.
