UFC 80 (this Saturday in Newcastle)

So, who's going?

I've got my ticket and am driving down with 4 friends. Can't wait! I was at UFC 70 in Manchester and the atmosphere was just fantastic. This time we'll be getting a title fight with BJ Penn fighting Joe Stephenson for the vacant Lightweight Title (155 pounds). Overall, that card isn't nearly as strong as UFC 79, or quite a few from the last year really, but there are still a few interesting match-ups.

Going to see BJ Penn would be worth it, he's a fantastic fighter!

ufc 80 is such a poor card apart from the main event, i,m tipping bj to submit joe stevenson, ufc is meant to be coming to liverpool in march, the main event is meant to be bisping,s debut at middleweight

Yeah Bisping is fighting Charles McCarthy. I've heard conflicting reports about where it's going to be though. Some say Liverpool, some say London.

Dana White also said this week that bringing the UFC to Scotland is in the UFC's plans.

Although the line up didn't look that great at first, this card really came through, they shoulda named this one 'Knock Out'.

The seats I got were much closer than last time.
