I frankly have to disagree with the Kooj-meister on this one. The film was over 3 hours and could've easily been fitted into 2 hours, 2h 15m. Coupled with that, the film had pretty much no plot whatsoever, relying on the CGI etc, which got very wearing. The story was too far-fetched (at one point, i was thinking to myself "This is 9pm on Friday night, and i'm watching a fucking 40ft gorilla having a square go with 5 T-Rexs". A T-Rex can surely kick a gorilla's arse.) and there were many holes in the story, which i won't point out if you haven't seen the film as i don't want to spoil it for you.
One piece of advice- if you have ANY doubts about your patience levels, don't go and see this film. It requires hardcore patience. If you want a film with a decent plotline and believable characters as well, don't look here. However, if you want to see some great action scenes and possibly the best use of CGI there's been, look no further. King Kong, too long ![]() |
