Clutch Problems

The wee screw on bit at the bottom of my hi hat clutch (the bit that holds the cymbal in place) comes loose, it did on my last one and my current one is a expensive pearl one and its only about 2 weeks old. Is there any way to stop this?

You take some sticky back plastic and wrap it around 10 or 20 times. That should sort it Bob

was that a joke? our drummer seems to have an extraordinary ammount of Blu-Tack on his kit!

it should have two bits on it, one to tighten it and another to hold it in place.
