I wanted both as a kid.

Now when I look back I wonder if it was for the right reasons.. i.e it being a quality guitar, rather than the fact kirk hammet, james hetfield and devin townsend used ESPs, and Sepultura used BC Riches.

I'm still tempted to get a BC Rich warlock now that i have a bit more money. They're death metal tastic. One with a floyd rose though... I likes me floyd rose tremelos

I dont rate BC Rich's at all.
I think ESP's are well made guitars but i think both are limited in their uses. i.e. Rock/Metal.
You would hardly see someone playing Jazz on a BC Rich would you? However, it would not be so ridiculous watching someone playing jazz on a les paul for example.

An ESP. they are better made.
But, if your gonna spend loads of money on a guitar, you want one that will last most of your life. can you picture yourself as an old man, sitting with a pipe and slippers, playing hardcore and metal to your grandkids?

actually, come to think of it, that would be pretty funny.
