Where...............

can I get an effects board, effects are really whats missing in my music, so If you could be so kinda as to point tme in teh direction of a good one.

I'm not to fussy on price, but I would prefer over like 50 effects.

The boss gt3 is nice, its huge and really expensive though, zoom do some good cheaper stuff.
Check out some reviews on harmony central that might give you an idea of what to look for.

i have a zoom pedal and its shite

i spent £100 on it and it was piss,

decide what effects ya need then buy them seperately far better quality and that way you get the actual sound ya want and not the sound that you have to put up with cos its there.

its like buying a £200 seprates hifi system or spending £200 on a shoebox with disco lights built in and speakers attatched from comet or wherever.......................that kinda says it all as far as effects pedals go!

Zoom fx are hideous. Thats not a matter of taste, they are just fucking horrible. I dont see why people dont just buy a bunch of seperate pedals.

why do you need 50+ fx anyway

these are all the fx i can think of

tremelo
reverb
flanger
phaser
pitch shifter
chorus
compression
gate swell volume type things
acoustic simulators
amp simulators
syth
rotary

A £200 pound seprates system...so basically a cd player right? or an amp? You couldn't get a half decent set of seperates for £200.
Anyway....
These guys are right, seperate FX pedals do sound better, and you could mix and match them just as well as if you had a multifx unit, better in some cases. The only thing is price, it'd be more to get an equivelant collection of stompboxes than a half decent multi fx unit. But i have a half decent multi fx uinit gathering dust cause it doesn't sound as nice as straight into the amp.....

yeah i've been to richer sounds (my flatmate got his system from them, so did my sisters boyfriend), to get a good seperates system there (or anywhere) you need to spend at least £300- At least £ 100 quid a pop for Cd deck and amp (if you want something that as ou say will wipe the floor with high street shit) and £60-£100 for a pair of speakers, plus leads and connectors, and if you want a record deck or minidisc deck your talking another £100 each
They sound a lot better though.
its the same deal with individual effects boxes, sound better, cost more.
