Tuner Pedal
i'm needing a tuner pedal to run in my pedal line... these small tuners are well and good but its tuning on stage thats a problem, so I am looking for a pedal to run in my effects line that has a complete bypass when switched off, and cuts off the signal running to the amp when on, so i can tune silently... of course since i wont hear this, it needs to be reliable, and also reasonably affordable...
any suggestions on what i should be looking for? i've never used one of these before...

I would get a second hand boss chromatic tuner pedal, only problem with them is they seem to get fucked and start picking up the radio alot.
or you could get an a/b pedal, connect a to your guitar b to your tuner, that would solve the whole radio problem and give you a cleaner signal path. |

nico i think your amp has a tuner output on it, if you get one of the £65 ones from sound control then you can put it in the tuner output, ya can leave it on all the time and it wont effect your sound whatsoever, i used to do it with my trace elliot and i do it with my new ashdown, im 100% that your amp can do the same!

mike - i'm needing the tuner for my guitar, not my bass... my bass holds tuning pretty well so i dont worry about it so much...
