I forgot about this site until just recently, I used to use it all the time.
It's some swedish guy who uses a good technique so he gets pretty accurate tabs, much better than shit on punkhardcore.
Only problem is there's not a lot of bands he tabs. There's some Lagwagon, offspring and stuff like that but the main bit is the nofx section. Almost every NOFX song ever and they're almost 100% accurate!
Even has the full 17 pages for the Decline!
Bass tabs too.

I'm not about the URL, I forgot it.
It's either www.jihootabs.cjb.net or if not, just type "nofx tabs" into google and it's one of the first few.

i found a site with everything by nofx once, cant remember what it was but it had like a grey brick wall background to it if anyone knows the one. I was gonna learn all of the Decline on bass one time but found it near impossible, i think i'd only been playin 6months or so then but i haven't tried it since.

Get the bass tab from that site. DJ-aoas has started learning it and it sounds pretty accurate.

its not the accuracy of the tabs, i think it's the ability of the bassist, i dunno if i could play it all, might give it a try one day.

It sounds bad-ass, the tab on http://www.jiihootabs.cjb.net is fairly accurate so far I've found one of the bass chords to be wrong and the last few notes in the led-zeppelin style bass-solo bit to be wrong, but that's it

Depends on what kind of punk you're talking about.
I don't want to start a "whats punk" debate, but a lot of "modern punk" songs are quite technical.

i know what you mean for a lot of guitar songs but if you wanna try working out the bassline for the decline with no help, fuckin good on you man.

in my youth I used to be able to play the whole of the decline except for the guitar solo about 2/3 of the way through.

anyways, i never play covers like the originals... work it out from the cd (even the bass) and its more fun, and will sound different to the original (which is good)...

although come to think of it i cant remember the last cover i worked out...
