i once painted a guitar with 2 tubs of 'ultramarine blue' warhammer paint and a crumpled up bit of kitchen roll. Probably don't do that.

hey! got some questions

1) y'ken the middle screw on the side of a humbucker, the one used for adjusting it's position? i've lost one of mine and was wondering if they are easy to get a hold of

2) the same pickup looks like it has bit of a dent in it next to one of the screws, how much will that affect it?

1) Any same sized and thread screw will do. if you want to be sure, take it to rainbow and they will sort you out. doubt it will be expensive

2) probably not much. cant really say without seeing it. if it used to sound good but now sounds shit, get it checked out.

You could do what ive done. I got a schecter omen 6 and plonked a seymour jb/59 set into it and it sounds fucking immense. kicks the arse outta my mates epi goth sg. id advise to avoid the telecaster, although they look good, they sound too thin and are best kept for playing country, IMO.

aye, country music like the stones, the beatles, led zeppelin, the pixies, radiohead, prince, sly stone, the clash and the who eh?
i'd say get a tele, they are very good guitars. and more suited to the style of music mike plays than a schecter omen 6. i don't know much about guitar builds, but i'd hazard a guess that an american-made tele would be better. andy, nico, ross and others will know better than me though.

Check out:

http://www.ishibashi-music.com/fenderjp/

CIJ fenders tend to be better than MIM, and alot of them are on par if not better than MIA fenders (im going by the bass world anyways, i take it will be the same for guitars), dont let the prices get to you too much, 64,000 yen is only £290

I do apoligise in advance for challenging your opinion, but your opinion is wrong.
