the times ive played schecter's ive been fairly impressed, although the pickups were a bit weak on the models i tried.

pretty reasonable for the price, but i would prefer a decent jackson.

gotta agree, but the pups fitted on the rockwood are outstanding.. have you tried a encore, my experience has shown them to be an awesome piece of kit.

That a rediculously sweeping statement to make.
Some schecters may indeed feel nicer than some gibsons or some fenders, but to say schecters (in general) will "Knock down" ANY gibson or fender with ease, is not only wrong, its fucking idiotic.

not trying to start an argument here, but have you tried every fender or gibson? if you havent, then you cant back up your statement with anything credible.

ive only played maybe about 10 models from gibson, fender and schecter. So i cant comment.

that statement is 10 times more childish than rosco's. its you thats starting an argument not him.

all you had to reply with was either

1) you genuinley believe schecters are better than everything that gibson/fender have made.

or

2)your original post came across wrong

but instead youve managed to get so wound up for nothing! taxi!

Fenders are great.

Schecters are good.

Gibsons are pretty rubbish in almost every way (these days), but they sound FUCKING AWESOME
