probably the settings on the pedal, as your amp settings will be the same. If its not that, its probably just the general set up your using isnt very good! (line 6 spider syndrome!) |

don't use too much gain, don't cut out all the middle, don't use too much treble.
something like dist (gain); 12/1 o clock mid freq- 11 o clock mid boost/ cut- 2 o clock treble, between and 1 and clock o clock bass- 1 o clock/ adjust to taste level- adjust to taste (balance up against clean tone when mt-2 is off) would depend on guitar/ amplifier/ amplifier settings as well though, OBVZ Last edited by bobby : 15th May 2007 at 06:48 PM. |

im thinking of getting a new amp, i don't have much of a budget at all due to being on the dole. im thinking of selling my peavey valveking 112 to get an ashdown fallen angel 50. the reviews for it online are quite good and i was wondering has anybody used one that could advise on the situation?? any help would be appreciated. i mostly play metal and hard rock.

I reckon for the money you could get something really decent second hand, like an old 5150 combo. |
