guitar tech in sound control fits them for £12.50, and I even got mine back on the same day

What about adding active pickups to a passive guitar, doesnt it cost more? cus they need to add a battery compartment ? (just out of curiosity)

if the guitar has a scratch plate then it shouldn't really be a problem as it could be put in there but if the guitar tech has to cut out a compartment then it should cost more, maybe around 20 to 30 pound but if you getting charged 50 buck then personally I'd walk away. O r just be original andget something rather than an emg, like possibly a seymour duncan full shred or a dimebucker hotrails humbucker should satisfy your whiskey fueled guitar needs.

if by "cut" you mean "smear" and by "chunks" you mean "butter", then i would say no...by which i mean "yes".

Frequency is measured in Hertz (Hz) as that is the unit of measurement. Wether the frequency is "pitch" or "tone" is irrelevent, it's just a case of us hearing frequencies in different ways. Correct me if i'm wrong.

I've been looking at the Ibanez S520EX as a potential new purpose, have tried it against similar instruments (Ibanez S-series, some EMGs, some Jacksons) and came to the conclusion that I like it very much: comfortable fast neck, good body shape, and light.

I just don't know anyone who owns one. Anyone able to give me the word on how it holds up when being played in anger, on a regular basis?

now, if your an angry man, what you need to look for is a good neck fitted with a top quality BRAND NAMED set of machine heads. if your thumping those strings like a red headed step child its wise to spend a bit of cash on your pegs. the rest should really be down to how well the guitars set up. thats solid advice for any brand of guitar. unless anyone can think of something else?

be prepared for fret wear. the angry players bane...

try and get a fixed bridge aswell, those floating floyd rose-style bridges wont hold up for an angsty . . . i mean angry player :smug git:

and as mike said, get some decent tuners on there, something like the locking grovers should do

Hey...

Hey there...Just curious. I've wanted to get the fender telecaster too. Heard it's real good but, is it good for rhythm guitar? or more lead based? Thank you. Kristin
