I don't know too much about snares. I agree with what Bobsy has said. If anyone has questions about cymbals (especially Zildjian) then I will answer you.
I'll add you tonight Bobsy, when I get home from school. And to ArchFlameTera- I've noticed your drummer doing heel toe now. Triplets are definetly my strongest point on double bass (go to www.myspace.com/3timesround and listen to The Rocks...) I can only do the doubl I do with my right foot when I'm doing a triplet, and I can't do it on its own, which is really weird... |

sure they were important and did loads but to say something like that is proposterous (sp?) so we have the super chops brigade like virgil donati and thomas lang, the groove machines like teddy campbell and dennis chambers, the incredibly versatile gregg bissonette, revolutionary drummers making it cool to play the real thing in a world of samples like the jungle drummer and ?uestlove and of course steve gadd is probably the most wonderfully smooth and fluent drummer ive ever heard! amd the wee 10 by 2 has jingles in it, its like an effects snare, similar to one you'd hear in a drum n bass |

I love all those drummers Bobsy mentioned.
I really wanna hear that snare now... And Bobsy, 17" K China or 18" Crash of Doom? Looking for a trashy cymbal (obviously), but not as trashy as an Oriental china. The K chinas seem to sound more like a 'trash crash', but still have a china sound (which I do want), but the Crash of Doom seems very, very tempting. What's your input? |

Ahhhhh Triggers!!!! Hate them. Absolutely hate them, but....
Roland triggers are quite good I think. What kit does your drummer have? Don't think I've ever seen it... If he has a really good kit then there is absolutley no point in triggers. |
