They use a 24.75" scale (if it is essentially a carbon copy SG), where as fenders use a 25.5" scale
So that could be the problem, still, try some heavier gauge strings, how low a string can go staying playable isnt that dependant on the guitar, my cheap bass has a great action and accoustic sound (its a let down when amplified, so im thinking a new pup could do it well), and it can go down a fair few steps before becoming unusable |

One needs to perform truss-rod adjustments every time a new gauge of string is used, in order to compensate for the differing tension on the neck. no need for thanks toneKing Last edited by toneking : 17th November 2005 at 12:46 AM. |

ToneKING also feels that a line 6 amplifier will never produce a pleasing sound. Line 6 amplifiers use digital impulse technology to simulate the distortion characteristics of good amplifiers. If a good valve amplifier is avaliable second hand for the same price (such as sovtek, sound city) it seems ridiculous that people would choose the line 6 at all. Do you know of any pilots who prefer microsoft flight simulator to flying a 747, ToneKING thinks not. In this particular unfortunate situation, toneKING will advise 'clegg' to bypass the pedal and use the 'amp' distortion. No need to thank TONEKING ToneKING |

TONEking presumes your amp is a Spider. BEHOLD Bearing in mind that suggested settings can never compare to using ones ear. As usual, no need to thank. TONEking Last edited by toneking : 17th November 2005 at 08:50 AM. |
