fao toneKING - air drums question
Toneking, could you please explain the following to me:
I play air drums in my house, avidly. Why does my right foot hitting off the floor (regardless of floor surface) sound significantly different to my left foot doing the same. When i am playing 'double pedals', it is important that both 'kick drums' sound the same, mine don't. I have checked my feet and they seem to be pretty much the same to me. Does anyone else experience similar tuning problems? Could you please explain this phenomenon, toneKING? fraser |

ToneKING! finds it near impossible to comment on your particular situation as there are too many unknown variables, density of the floor material, size of both the feet in question, type of footwear etc. Also the angle at which the shoe hits the surface can have a significant effect on the tone. If you notice a difference in pitch on the deadest of surfaces, the answer is most likely, in your shoe. In future please provide TONEking with sufficient data. No need for thanks, ~ ToneKING ~ |
