aw thats pish! its not a "punk" thing. like you said its a retard thing. you'll probably find most bands who worry more about their hair dye than their guitars are knobs regardless of genre.

For the majority of local bands i agree completely. But occasional its fun to see a band make an effort to be a bit(or very) flamboyant for a change instead of going up onstge, playing their set n then buggering off, punk, rock, metal or whatever.

Aye i suppose i am pretty bad for that but like i said it's a mutual thing, i even offered to lend your bassist my bass for a gig once when his had drink spilled on it but as i didn't have a G strung on it was no good to him.
I don't take it for granted either, S'pecially when someones good enough to give it.

I totally agree with Ross.
Whenever I go to a gig I TRIPLE CHECK that I have at least 2 pairs of drumsticks with me, my drop clutch, all my cymbals, extension stand, every part of my double bass pedal and that my snare is working properly. It takes me about 1 minute to do all of this.

when I / We promote a gig what we do is get all the bands on the bill to have a whipround... everyone brings a piece of kit and all the bands use it !!

YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS IS SETUP PROPERLY THOUGH OR YOU END UP RUNNING AROUND LIKE A BLUE ARSED FLEA ABOUT 5 MINS BEFORE THE GIG IS SCHEDUALED TO START !!

*i assumed tom as the promoter would be providing the backline *(the same way i would have)

the leads thing...... yes there is really no excuse for not having them but, since my bro is on the dole and skint he cant afford a backup lead, therfor if he forgets his it kinda fucks him up....

gally is the worst for it, he uses his pedal and then needs more leads than he brings (which pisses me off no end)

anyway... i agree with it, i's about time you fuckers did get sum new gear !!, ya smelly wee blagging cunts, and theres nae excuse now that we're signed and workin on endorsements to get shit cheaper ya skint wee bitches....
