DC Bass

Hey Friends,

I was just wondering if anyone owns or has played a Danelectro DC bass, I'm considering buying one, mainly cause it's hollowbodied and I'm a little pussy so it'll be easier on my back, it looks cool as fuck and Fat Mike uses it so I have a rough idea of what it's gonna sound like. But I just wanted to know if any of you guys have played it so i could get some proper feedback.

(if you ken anyone or any shop that's selling one on the cheap tell me as well.)

Did u not play one at curlys when ur bass fucked up at battle of the bands! i think it was the guy from segaboy bass

That's a different kind of Dano, it was fucking shit hot though, even though the circumstances around me getting my hands on it weren't.

I ken we were shit at curly's but we're better now, honest.

Ernie Ball have made a chaper version of that, its between the olp and the proper stingry. Its made of graphite and costs £650 ish

I had a look at it in sound control. I'm a huge music man fan and the bass i play right now is an OLP musicman copy but something was wrong with it. I didn't like it...then again i never played it so i don't really know.

Musicman's, in my opinion, are the bees knees as far as basses go. Is it still in the big glass display cabinet in sound control? I haven't been in a while, depresses me when i drool over that guitar and know i can't have it

I was talkin about sound control in Kirkcaldy. Now that i think about it I have played a proper 1400 quid musicman stingray before. last year me and Johnny-oas went to england and i played one there...It was shit hot, really, really cool bass
