I use an Ibanez bass too, it's a GSR-200. It's pretty good after the action was sorted out, really easy to play now.
For some reason it's always a bit dodgy when I'm recording stuff, like i have been this week. It always sounds out of tune to the rest of the band when you listen back to it, maybe the intonation or something. |

I am also a big fan of the Warwick Steamer single-pick up, but this is about £80-£90 more than the Soundgear and doesn't sound any better. If you play heavy music this is probably the best bass you will get for the money, unless you go second-hand and if that is the case in my opinion Musicman (if you can get one cheap) is the best option. |
