this is the new "emo" debate, isn't it? There is no technique to screaming, that's the point. It comes from inside you, it's a physical manifestation of your rage and frustration... In order to scream "well" you must believe passionately in what you are saying

If it's yer DM vocals you're wanting to touch up, then pull it from your gut, not your throat. You'll just mess up your throat if you try and growl or screech from there.

Alex, you need to stop eating elitist flakes for breakfast. I dont see you fronting any fantastic metal bands just now, so maybe it's just possible you're not the final word on this subject.
Only advice i could give you (not being a vocalist myself) is that if you try to growl/scream in an accent that isn't yours it'll sound funny....
