Iiiiiii am hopefully getting a Wii for Christmas. It's the only thing I asked for, so I can only hope. I want Zelda and Monkey Ball, and maybe WarioWare if I can (I heard it's coming out a week after the launch date?) and then my Christmas'll be pure doss beans. I'm rubbish at Zelda though, I think I managed to finish the Tower of the Gods on the Wind Waker and duly got stuck.

I'll definitely be getting a Wii, but not til next year probably. I'll be getting the Gamecube version of Zelda although I'm a bit worried it won't be as good as the Wii version but I don't want to wait any longer for it.

I just went into my old Nintendo log in for the first time in ages.

Nintendo give you stars for registering stuff online which you can use to get Screen savers and sometimes games etc.

They've also started doing a recommend a friend thing, so if you want to sign up after getting a Wii I'll get bonus stars for it. (I think I get them for clicking too)

You'll want to do this as apparently it extends the warranty period Nintendo will cover it for.

If anyone gets one and has it net-connected they should put their wii friends code in this thread. If there is a big enough group of wii owners we can start a separate thread for the UGS Wii community

get mines 2moro morning at 8 cant wait, getting call of duty and wii play along with the normal package of wii sports.

I havent really looked into get it connected to the net, is it easy enough?

aye if you have as wireless router. If not, youll have to buy a nintendo dongle to put into a usb 2 port on your pooter.

i feel like im the only person who still uses wires these days. maybe it'll be good in the long run when i dont get brain cancer and stuff.

Game got some and sold out, loads of places got none. Having worked in a shop for console launches you normally get about 1 extra remote per console, cursing feckin bastardin gggr

Toys R Us has Wii Play in stock as of about an hour ago.

I got my tiny little friend today! haven't booted him up yet. Dunno whether to start on Zelda before i get some bitchin component cables. I want it all to be lovely!

I also have David Felt's Wii in my possession. I think i'll just put it on eBay. He doesn't really need one

Oh Cheers, luckily my sis finishes at 3:30 so shes on her way to try and pick one up.

Got Wii, Rayman, nunchuck, but no extra wiimote yet

When I spoke to Dave about how great 4 player would be he said him and a mate were getting a Wii - assume it was you
