So first opinions on the console? Saw all the news reports about the console selling out completely in the first few hours right across the UK. Looks like Nintendo are onto a winner with this one.

Only played for a bit yesterday (was out friday night and today)

Wii Play: great introduction to "how to use the controller"
Wii Sports: fun games. Tennis/Bowling are good two player. Boxing is fun 1 player but weird 2 player you cant really see whats going on.
Rayman: hilarious

I can't wait for the first lawsuit:

Every game starts with a big screen saying make sure its strapped on and no ones around you and you are interrupted quite a bit on loading screens if playing for a while to go take a break. Any strap faults should obviously be sorted but if someone has played for 4 hours and the controller flies 3 inches out of their sweaty hands and breaks a glass then its their own fault.

i spent most of the day today playing david's wii, it was my first try and it was incredible such good fun, i don't actually see why anyone would fork out extra money for the ps3/360... oh man, i want one so much now.

Had a shot, the gimmick got boring quickly. Not played the Zelda game yet though.
