who's pre-ordered one? What are you planning on getting?

I've got mine pre-ordered as an Xmas present for me. I'll be getting an extra wand/controller and Super Monkey Ball and maybe Brain Academy.

im tempted too, but then again i think i would never ever use it!

some half decent games, a lot of mediocre ones though by the looks of it.

the whole virtual console shit looks nifty but then again, all you need is a pc and an emulator.....

my experience from playing games in arcades is: waving you arms about like a tool is fun for a while, but quickly gets boring!

I've got it pre-ordered with Zelda and Red Steel (might make that Call of Duty 3 though)

probably going to pick up another wii-mote and a nunchuck too

brain academy is definitely on the list - I've got Brain-Training on the DS and it's brilliant (if a little depressing sometimes)

I agree with each of these points and would like to add that I do the majority of my gaming in the early hours and the last thing I want to be doing when monging in front of a console is exert any part on my body that isn't the thumbs. Swinging at well rendered tennis balls or whatever at 3am doesn't really appeal to me.

I'm pretty sure theres an old fashioned d-pad with a couple of analouge sticks in it, which will be compatable with all games( not 100% sure tho)

Got mines pre ordered, was told i didn't have to pre order any games tho, think I'll just buy zelda

thats the reason im put off, once you've done the star wars games its done.

credit for Nintendo for not just doing the same old consoles, no doubt this will be HUGE in Japan.
