I'm a bit dissapointed i didn't eat for a week and just go the extra expense and get a top card when i bought all that new hardware. Still, I suppose i bought that card for the right reason, to do work and not play games

I will start joining in with UGS multiplayer games more when I get my own flat in April. It's not really feasible when you're sharing an internet connection, because your ping can vary a lot depending on what your flatmates are doing on the net

I think we also need to get some UGS Xbox live games on the go, as I don't like playing with the random morons and 12 year olds that populate the internet.

I plan to play PC games too, it's just that some Xbox games would be good too, I could actually use my Xbox live subscription for something useful.

I've tried playing Halo 2 on Xbox live, but ever since my ex-workmates from my days as a game tester cancelled their Xbox live subscriptions, I've had to play with the normal morons on Xbox live, and it just puts me off completely.

It was awesome when the game first came out, we used to have 3 on 3 capture the flag/assault games.

On the PC side of things, I need to get me a copy of Half-Life 2
