How many of you play this online game? Having had a taste i'm completely addicted.

If you want the ip that some of us here play on then pm me.

I'll edit this later to include all the other ip's we use.

Ive not played it much recently, i am much more addicted to DoD Source, should have a UGS geek together

Better download it while you can. Mods made from big-name intellectual property tend not to last very long before being sued.

i tend to play normal CS more as anything with the source engine tends to go tits up after half an hour or so due to me having onboard sound.

i only found out goldeneye was available for source recently, i played it (or humoured it) as a normal half-life mod for years cos all my mates were console junkies and liked to drool over my pc. still having 6 stoned/drunk people in your room all shouting "right me next, 10 kills and yer oot" is quite a laugh. who says pc's are only multyiplayer online? :P

i'd play a game of sommat sometime.

i recommend people download Xfire, it's a gaming instant messenger (it'll never replace MSN but it allows you to even see what friends of friends are playing and i find it hand) 2 or 3 people on ugs already have it, including myself, bender and rebelious.

I quite like the idea of this however i normally close everything down including messengers to help give me the best ping in a server. Gonna start using it more again though whenever I'm in a UK server.

what does one need to start a CS server.. say a UGS gaming server? Would a hosting company run it for me for a monthly fee? i quite like the idea of UGS frag fests cos i know a few members on here are in the gaming industry and alot of others have a fondness for online gaming.
