Free gaming server

I've won a competition for a gaming server for a month, except they dont support any of the games I play. Well they have CS1.6 but i cannae stand that. Anyway, fancy a UGS dedicated CSS, BF or CoD server for a month?

ps i entered cos the people who ran the competition do my webhosting and i was asked on MSN to enter :P

Thirding CSS vote. There are other games I like, but CSS is the only game I like out of all those, and it's what everyone else is playing at the moment.

whey i dont play any of those games

I'm prob gonna buy CSS and go with a CSS server. My squad (who have an account with the people doing competition under my name) are split between CoD and BF2

I'd suggest Team Fortress Classic, but I don't think anyone else will want to play it with me

Also, after playing CSS with people from here on Thursday, I reckon people need to get headsets/microphones and get some proper tactics on the go.

I just bought one this afternoon.

I find the audio from headsets in CSS absolutely shite. You can never make out what anyone is saying. I'd rather use Roger Wilco or something that runs outwith the game.

Also, this may be of interest to you Bry.

i second Col there, use programs outwith games for audio conversations....much better quality...

and you gotta have good tactics, everyone plays in a different style!

headsets and tactics are a definate must. Remember to play on S.O.Hell this wed night, it'll be good fun. I think the teams are getting mixed up this time.

Well, if anyone is interested then download ROGER WILCO

All you do is have one person be the server and everyone else joins it. Really easy to use.

I can't host the server as I'm not connected directly to the net and so the IP address created on my PC is not accessible. if someone else wants to install it on thier PC (if they connect direct to the net) they can create the channel and we can then join

My squad has a TS server so we use that, plus when i finally speak to guys from competition there will be a 10 slot one with the server
