Surely the responsibility is up to the parents to tell their kids to get off the game if they are playing too much. Since when do games companies become parents?

if i ever feel inclined to commit suicide, I'll make sure to do something like picking flowers or studying for 36hours straight and leave a note saying "i want to join the great flower pickers/academics in the sky!" then you guys can see if flowers get banned or anything.

It's absolutely ridiculous. Bad Parenting - not Killer games.

I played Star Wars Nights of the Old Republic for 20 hours straight when i first bought it...all i wanted was to sleep...and kill Carth Onasi...because...i hate you Carth...i hate the way you talk, i hate what you talk about,i hate it that you are clearly trying to be a baddass good guy soldier but inside you are an emo kid....my one true joy Carth, was killing your son on Korriban, right infront of you...

I *really* hope the case gets rejected. Its awful parenting to let your kid go and do that. Back when i was young and would possibly believe "the stories" my parents would watch over me and make sure i dont go and do something stupid. Also 36 hours straight... JESUS! I cant play games for a full day having decent breaks every few hours, let alone 36 hours straight.

By the way, yes for a Darwin!

i dont think it has that much to do with parents. i would never have killed myself cause of a game. maybe its just cause of the growing number of geeks and god is trying to get rid of them. fucking geeks, what a waste of fine humans.
