ok, ive got a few things to ask.
i guess this could be a general WoW thread aswell.

ok when i buy WoW do i have to pay for a character? how much is it altogether to get set up?
do i get any months free when i first register?
is it defo worth the money?
how many people on here play?
is it still hard to find a decent server?
that is all for just now. any info would be great. i need to play this game i think. . .

You pay for the game then it's roughly £9 a month. Per server you can create 10 characters and you can join as many servers as you want, as far as i know. But it's best to concentrate on one character.
You can choose from Warrior, Mage, Priest, Druid, Warlock, Rogue, Hunter, Shaman (Horde) and Paladin (Alliance)
You get 30 days free before money is taken from your account.
It is definitely worth the money, i haven't bought another game since getting it so it's probably saving me money!
I think there's a few on here who play. I play on the Shadowsong server.
New servers are being made a fair bit but the existing servers would be fine, definitely not too late, new people joining and people re-rolling all the time.

I think people from here play on the same server so you might want to join them?

I just started on saturday on the Scarshield Legion server because my friend is on that server. it's PvP RP but not many people RP thank fuck. anyone on here got lvl 60 yet?

Nope, working my way there though, i don't get to play much, i'm level 37 on my main, who's a gnome mage.

My girlfriend started way after me and she's like level 44 or something because she's finished Uni and has time

I am on VC server and got level 22 Hunter. Got three character on it but will concenrate on Hunter.

I'm aware it gets harder to lvl though

Definitely does and the quests themselves get much harder and you have to join groups MUCH more

Done an instance yet?

did deadmines on someone elses account and I've poked about blackfathom deeps on my own. I'm grinding a lot to get higher level than necessary so I've not had to group at all yet. trying to solo as much as I can just now.

if you solo then you will get more XP than being in a party

Groups are fun, especially when you join a guild because they generally aren't weird idiots who attack the level 40million elite monster when you're recovering health and people in guilds tend not to typ lik dis @ll teh t1m3
