I'm kind of embarassed to post mine as both a laptops. The first is a Dell XPS M170 17inch laptop and the other is a MacBook Pro 15inch. Both handle Counterstrike: Source at full with no problems so I'm happy lol.

I am however looking at building a machine in Feb when the new DX 10.1 graphics cards are released from NVidia, the GeForce 9 cards. Tasty.

That's my idea Kaje, in the new year ATI release their new motherboard chipset and AMD Phenoms will be out, as will DX10.1 cards. The problem being that 'latest' technology usually has a disgusting price.

For example, ATI release the new X1700 at $380, 2 months later the X1900 is launched at the same price and the X1700 drops to $150, then continues to drop at absurd rates. This bugs me, but it makes sense from an industrial view as nutters will still pay beyond the odds to own the latest and greatest hardware.

My laptop is a red Dell that looks a bit similar to KJ's

Dell Insprion 1720
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz
2GB RAM
2x100GB hard drive
Geforce 8600M GT
Windows Vista Home Premium

I got it mainly for XNA programming though, so I've not played any games on it yet. I'll have to redownload Half-Life 2 and give it a go
