i've always liked daft punk and i'm quite into mylo. but that's really only scratching the surface.

new electronic band im getting into is "I Am X" try find song called "Kiss and Swallow" by him, really good kinda sleazy almost depeche mode stuff

I have infront of me a flyer for a 'Synthpop and Electroclash' night in Edinburgh and I think it's what you're looking for...You've probably listened to a few of the bands mentioned but hey:

Ladytron, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, LCD Soundsystem, OMD, !!!, Soulwax, Le Tigre, The Rapture, Add N to ( x ), New Order, Gary Numan, The Faint, Postal Service...
