Mike Patton
Anyone out there a fan of Mike Patton? If so, favourite Mike Patton venture?
I'm really getting back into Mr. Bungle again. It's just so brilliantly funky and heavy! But I mean, you've got 5(ish) things to choose from... Naked City Mr. Bungle Faith No More Fantomas Tomahawk aaaaaaaaaaand his many collaborations numerous musicians - Bjork, John Zorn (outside of Naked City) and the X-ecutioners to name a mere handful. 'Angel Dust' is definately a great album.
His vocals that he did for Naked City are just brilliantly raw. I'm considering investing in the recently released Complete Studio Recordings that Naked City have just brought out but it's a steep £80! Still, they're bloody great. Just been reading an interview he did for the Wire last month. The guy won't settle down! Legend. |
