Em - no song has really changed my 'life'... What about yourself Mikey... has a song changed you life?
I used to listen to quite a lot of (Swear word) then I listened to Placebo and then started listening to more metal etc. but it didn't change my life, only expanded my musical tastes... someone (not of religious a being) ‘bless’ Brian Molko! Now I listen to classical music, metal, punk and pretty much everything*… but still none of those changed my life… * This does not include Dance, R ‘n’ B, Rap, Techno or Crazy (Swear word)ing Frog! |

I still would not say that something like music can 'change' my life... I would say it might inspire me but not change me, that is only my personal view.
It kind of comes down to the argument with things like Marilyn Manson and people who were charged murdered... the were saying blaming it on the music they listened to but... that was more who the people were... did Marilyn Manson's music 'inspire' them to do that... well they would have to be pretty (Swear word)ed up people to start with, would you not recon? People are different though and some may be changed in such a way by music, I do not believe I would, but then again maybe I have not found that song yet... Hence forth why it may be that I have just not found that song yet
![]() I do not completely cast aside the idea that a song will NEVER change my life, just that I have not found one that has... Movies have inspired me to change my life, so I cannot say that music could never do that also |
