Got a new mic for recording

Last month for his birthday, I bought my son John a better microphone for
recording his acoustic guitar jazz, an AKG model C3000B. The day before
Christmas, he finally acquired the necessary preamp and cables. After
dinner on Christmas Eve, he got it all set up in our living room and started
recording. To my untrained ears, the clarity of individual notes seems
improved. The mic even picks up the ticking of the clock on the wall.

By Christmas morning, he had finished recording three pieces. I
particularly like one of them, which he calls SPQR (Senatus Populusque
Romani). Please take a listen and let us know what you think. - CW
