New Youthmovies/YMSS album

It's not out yet, officially, i don't think. But they are currently selling it at shows.

A link here - Good Nature.rar

I think it's INCREDIBLE. Can't wait to have it in my hands.
TNGIAM is much better than when i last heard it. And miles better than when i first saw it live! Having Sam permanently on trumpet really makes a huge difference to the band.

If You'd Seen A Battlefield is superb.

It's very different to Hurrah!... era stuff, unrecognisable from Let's Get Going...

I just bought this at their gig with Foals in Glasgow the other night. I agree, it is an amazing album, well worth the wait. The trumpet does add a lot to to the sound, and to think I was slighty worried at first when I found out a trumpet player had joined the band. It's more melodic that the older stuff but still complex and well crafted. They were great live too.

That's cool, thanks for the link. Was talking to someone about them earlier who'd seen them supporting Foals a couple of nights ago. Remembered I got Hurrah ages ago (after they supported 65daysofstatic), it was pretty decent. Would like to see them again, they wiped the floor with 65days

I can't remember the last time i saw them, actually. But i fear it may have been Truck 2006.

And they were EPIC then, i'd love to see them this year.

Got a listen to this on the way back to Glasgow today, really enjoyed it. Sure it'll keep growing on me, then hopefully they'll come back and play again sometime soon.

Tubelord are decent enough live though.
And i bet their rider is somewhat smaller in comparison to YMSS and 'size, haha.

Nah. I think it was Barfly '05. Sure it was just as I'd started Uni through here. They were ok, just kinda dull. Saw them the year after, Barfly too i think, and it was more of the same.
