People should download this if they want to know about Dundee music at the beginning of the decade.....

The VLT track is really good and totally different to the rest of their stuff. I have a soft spot for the MTS and Asuka (Kev Laeto!) tracks, as well as the aforementioned Nikita. Seem to remember the Voigt Kampf one being pretty good too.
Original cover ftw, Alex! |

Haha, amazing! I've still got that cd somewhere. I think I picked it up when I was still at school so I guess I'm showing my age now! Some good tracks on there, particuarly the Voigt Kampff track. Who was involved there and wtf was up with Fat Dumpling Shark, Fungicide and Infernal? Were they piss-takes?

Fat Dumpling Shark, Infernal and Fungicide were all genuine bands!
Infernal featured a future member of One Inch Volcano, Fungicide feature Joe (Dundee Uni Janitor) on bass, and Fat Dumpling Shark were seriously insane. |

Voigt Kampff were class.
I think the Dundee "scene" was better back then. There were great gigs on all the time. Sadly this is no longer the case. There are still lots of gigs, but the quality has fallen through the floor IMHO.
