OK, first off, you wont like this record unless you are into ska/punk, because this is total ska/punk. If you are into ska/punk then you need Misled Youth, so get it! ok. Misled Youth are this areas pioneers in ska, a fact that they only underline with their second release of a pretty short existence so far. This CD pretty much consists of what the guys have been playing in their live shows of the last 6 months or so, so i already recognised the material but it was nice to hear it recorded as a change.Starts with "id buy you a coke" which, along with "the difference a second makes" is in my opinion the CD`s strongest moment. Purely because I prefer the punk sound to the ska. Tracks 2, 3 + 4 are the most ska moments on the CD and all seem to start quite similarly before wandering off into their own sound after a riff or 2. "God is Good" is the heaviest song on the disc, with a hint of harder punk to even up the variations on the disc. Very solid performance even if it doesnt sound quite as clear as some of the demos we have recieved, but, as should be the case, the music speaks for itself. Thumbs firmly up
