Zero Cipher - 45 RPM
Review by Baz
AH, first of all, apologies to the ZC boys, we know we`ve had this for a while, we promise to be quicker in the future. On to the CD, 3 tracks, 3 words, HEAVY AS FUCK. Pretty ace tho, bearing in mind im a punk rocker and prefer to review punk *KJ, but will have a good listen to anything hoisted my way. Regardless of genre or preferance you cannie deny talent, and ZC are very talented boys. Heavy riffs, breakneck drum parts and awesome vocal power, especially on "last September", for me the standout track of this disc. I for one dont really like over production on a record and it could`ve gone very wrong for ZC on this front but i`d say they got it just about right, one thing i dont like tho is the DJing. If your gonna rock, then rock. If your gonna DJ, go to Ibiza and fuckin stay there. Its only a personal opinion so dont let it put you off but guys, sack DJForceX or at least, give him a better name, he`s competing with DJ Lethal for shitest name ever. Overall tho, i have to say i was impressed. ZC have a certain quality that is very hard to pinpoint, this has to be a good thing. I recommend checkin em out to see for your self. I`ve noticed a few pretty decent profile gigs they are on the line-up for so if thats your neck of the woods i`d go see em, im sure it would be mental live. Keep an eye on these boys if u like your metal loud (and with DJ`s) ; )
