MUWK - Progress?
Tracks: 1. ELFLS 2. Ink 3. Nowhere Fast 4. Thanks for Nothing
the first 2 tracks on this CD are virtually identical, thats the main problem, and they are damn short too. The vocals are not really there in that they dont match the energy of the rest of the band. With more variation in the songs, they would have been better, and perhaps if they were longer, they could have fitted alot more into em too.
Nowhere Fast was my fav track outta the four. A little better than the first two, it had more variation in it, just like Thanks for Nothing. The vocals on this and the last track sound like they have Frank Spencer from Some Mothers Do Have Em fronting the band :P
Thanks for nothing was the longest on the CD, wieghin in at a heavy 2m 10 seconds. If there was a major fault in the music it is that the songs are too short, leaving very little room for varation and crowd participation. Fair enough, they are bloomin fast and most people, especially me, would tire out after going ape for a minute or so, so its not that bad, but for the rest of you, longer songs would be greatly appreciated.
Thats all i got to say on this one. For more info on the band, check out their web site. They have recently started gigging again and it would be cool to go see em if they appear in your area sometime soon!
