TearJerk - NFNF

punknews did a review of our new e.p. , its a good review, i just wish they`d made it a bit more personal and talked about the songs more. its the 1st feedback we`ve had and im pretty pleased. hopefully get some more soon. (fucking genuis 1st line btw) --

"Tearjerk rape silence; just as a child would deface a blank sheet of paper with a big red crayon or how a cars tire tracks seem punishing as they run through a patch of unspoiled pristine snow.

It’ s not a criminal offence however, but instead a megaphone for the educated middle classes who lead comfortable lives, a truth for the person who walks past a beggar and feels guilty for not giving.

There is no reliable song structure; the vocals don’t follow any significant melody, but they don’t need to – this is fucking hard with intelligent lyrics.

With 4 songs, Tearjerk create a fast protest of noise and anger that must be followed with a close ear in order to understand, and as the band come from Dundee it’s easy to fathom some of the anger.

The guitars constantly embattle their way into each song – preparing for a social tirade and onslaught from the throat of the vocalist.

This is an outlet for the shirt and tie workers who are afraid to say what they believe.

This is cultured Anger Management. "
